Pricing & Refund Policy
What RecDem costs, how the one-time payment and licence activations work, and when we give refunds.
1. Plan and price
RecDem offers a free plan (no payment, no account needed) and a paid Lifetime plan for those who want commercial use, 4K export and no watermark. This policy covers the paid plan.

Prices are in US dollars. Taxes such as VAT or GST may be added at checkout depending on your location. This is a single, one-time charge — there is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
2. What your payment includes
Your one-time payment unlocks every feature RecDem has at the time you buy, for as long as you use the software, on the number of devices shown above. It also includes free bug-fix and maintenance updates for the current version of RecDem.
3. Licence activations
When you buy, Dodo Payments issues you a licence key by email and you activate it inside the RecDem editor. Your key can be active on up to 2 devices at a time. If you get a new device, deactivate an old one from the Dodo Payments customer portal, or write to info@recdem.com and we will help.
4. Payments and taxes
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. This means Dodo Payments is the seller for tax purposes, collects and pays any sales tax, VAT or GST that applies, and issues your receipt and invoice. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Our refund guarantee
We want you to be happy with RecDem. If it isn't right for you, we offer a straightforward refund within 7 days of your purchase, no detailed justification needed — just tell us it didn't work out. This is instead of a free trial: buy with confidence, and if it's not for you, ask for your money back within the window above.
Outside the 7-day window, refunds are given at our discretion, for example if you were charged in error (a duplicate or incorrect amount) or hit a technical problem our support team could not resolve after a reasonable effort.
6. How to ask for a refund
Email info@recdem.com within 7 days of your purchase with:
- the email address used to buy and your Dodo Payments order or receipt number;
- for a technical issue, what happened, your browser, version and operating system.
We will review your request and reply by email, usually within a few business days. Approved refunds are issued through Dodo Payments to your original payment method and deactivate your licence. How long the money takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider. Where the law in your country gives you additional refund rights, those rights are not affected by this policy.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If you have a problem with a charge, please contact us first. We can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute. Opening a chargeback without contacting us may lead to your licence being suspended while it is reviewed.
8. Future updates and upgrades
Free bug-fix and maintenance updates are included with your licence. If we later release a substantial new version of RecDem with major new capabilities, we may offer it as a separate, optional paid upgrade — your existing licence will keep working as described in our Terms & Conditions. We do not promise particular future features or release dates.
